The outrageously funny British television sensation is hitting the big screen in “Absolutely Fabulous: The Movie” and will be shown at the Mary D. Fisher Theatre! Appropriate for their big screen debut, Edina Monsoon and Patsy Stone (Jennifer Saunders and Joanna Lumley) are still oozing glitz and glamour, living the high life they are accustomed to; shopping, drinking and clubbing their way around London's trendiest hotspots. But when they accidentally push Kate Moss into the river Thames at an uber fashionable launch party, Eddy and Patsy become entangled in a media storm surrounding the supermodel's untimely demise and are relentlessly pursued by the paparazzi. Fleeing penniless to the glamorous playground of the super-rich, the French Riviera, they hatch a plan to make their escape permanent and live the high life forever more! Sedona Cinema: Comedy ‘Don't Think Twice‘
September 2nd – 3rd, 2016 (4:00 pm)
Tickets are $12, or $9 for Film Festival members
The Sedona International Film Festival is please to present “Don't Think Twice” at the Mary D. Fisher Theatre. For eleven years, an improv group called The Commune has reigned as the big fish in the small pond of their New York improv theater. Commune members Miles, Samantha, Jack, Allison, Bill and Lindsay invent comedy without a script and without a net. They're ingenious, they're fast, and they build on each others' ideas like best friends — which they also are. Night after night they kill onstage and wait for their big break. Day after day they work menial jobs to support themselves. Then they get news that their theater is shutting down, and scouts from a hit TV show come to a performance looking for talent. Only two cast members get the nod, upsetting the dynamic of the group and leaving its future in doubt…For more information or to purchase tickets to this Sedona showing please visit the Sedona International Film Festival.
